Six Jobs, Done Quietly.

Jotly sorts transactions, pins receipts, closes the month, forecasts the year, estimates your tax and chases invoices. Below is each one, what it looks like in use, and where it falls short.

Read-only bank connection. Annual plans from $89.

01 Capabilities

The Work, One Job at a Time

Each capability below ends with how it fits into a normal month, so you can judge it against your own routine.

01 Learns from you

Auto-categorization

Fix a Charge Once, Never Again

Every transaction gets a category the moment it posts. Doubtful ones land in a review queue. When you correct one, the change becomes a rule that rewrites past matches and covers future ones.

In your monthTen minutes in the queue during week one, then a glance each Friday. Split transactions and odd merchants still need you.

02 Asks, doesn't guess

Receipt matching

The Receipt Finds Its Own Charge

Photograph a receipt, forward the email or drop in a PDF. Jotly reads vendor, date and total, then pins it to the card charge. Two lookalike charges? It asks you rather than burying a wrong guess.

In your monthSnap receipts when you get them. At month end, the unmatched list shows what's still missing. Handwritten slips are the weak spot.

03 One click

Bank and card reconciliation

Close the Month When the Numbers Agree

When the statement balance and your books match, one click closes the month. When they don't, Jotly points at the transaction that's off instead of handing you a list of maybes.

In your monthDo it on the first working day after statements land. A charge the bank hasn't posted yet waits for next month.

04 Ledger plan

12-month cash flow forecast

Twelve Months Ahead, Roughly

A forecast built from your own history, not a template. Add a hire, lose a client or delay a purchase and the line moves. Switch between base, slow-quarter and new-hire scenarios.

In your monthLook at it before any big spend. It is weather, not a promise, and it will be wrong somewhere.

05 Not your accountant

Quarterly estimates and year-end export

Know the Number Before the Deadline

Quarterly estimates come from your real profit to date, so you know what to set aside. At year end one export hands your accountant clean books. Jotly prepares; a person still files.

In your monthMove the suggested amount to savings when you close the month. Estimates are estimates, and your accountant has the final word.

06 Studio plan

Invoicing with payment tracking

Invoices That Close Themselves

Send an invoice from the same place your books live. When the deposit hits your bank, Jotly matches it and marks the invoice paid, so nobody types a payment in by hand.

In your monthSend on delivery, check the overdue column on Mondays. Payments through other channels still need a manual match.

02 Security

Your Bank Login Is Not Ours to Keep

Read-only

Bank connection

See, Never Move

Jotly can read transactions and balances. It has no permission to transfer, pay or withdraw, and you can revoke the link from your bank at any time.

Credentials

We Don't Hold Your Password

You sign in at your bank, not on a Jotly form. What comes back is a limited access token, not the keys to the account.

Yours to take

Exports

Leave Whenever

Transactions, categories, rules and receipts export as plain CSV and PDF files. Nothing is trapped behind a plan.

Team access

Roles That Mean Something

Give your accountant view-and-comment access without handing over billing. The audit trail on Ledger records who changed which category and when.

03 Integrations

It Sits Beside Your Other Tools

Jotly doesn't ask you to move your shop, your tasks or your accountant. Here's what each connection actually does.

  • XeroPushes closed months to your accountant's ledger so they don't re-key anything.
  • ShopifyBrings in payouts and fees as separate lines, so sales aren't netted into a mystery deposit.
  • ZapierTriggers on new receipts or closed months for whatever else you automate.
  • DropboxWatches a folder and turns every PDF dropped in into a receipt to match.
  • AsanaOpens a task when a month ends with unmatched receipts.
  • SalesforceReads closed-won deals so forecasts can include invoices not yet sent.
  • ZendeskLets support see whether a customer's invoice is paid before replying.

04 Reliability

When It Breaks, You'll Hear It From Us First

Bank links dropBanks change their connections without warning. When a feed stalls, Jotly flags the account and shows the last good sync time instead of silently going stale.
Nothing deleted quietlyEvery rule change and category edit is undoable, and Ledger keeps the audit trail. A bad rule can be rolled back.
Honest limitsAuto-sorting is a strong guess, not a certainty. The review queue exists because it is sometimes wrong.

05 Your move

Pick the Plan That Matches Your Accounts

One account and one person is the Freelancer plan at $89 a year. More accounts, invoicing and tax estimates are on Studio. Forecasting and the accountant portal are on Ledger.
